How do I create a Facebook account?

Note: (You must be at least 13 years old to create a Facebook account.)

To create a Facebook account, follow these steps:

1. Go to www.facebook.com.
2. Click on the "Create New Account" button.
3. Enter your name, email or mobile phone number, password, date of birth and gender.
4. Click on the "Sign Up" button.
5. To confirm your email or mobile phone number, Facebook will send you a code. Enter the code and click "Continue."
6. You will then be taken to your new Facebook profile. From here, you can add friends, post updates, and customize your profile.

Note: If you do not want to use your real name on Facebook, you can create a nickname or use a pseudonym. However, Facebook does have policies in place to ensure that people use their authentic identities on the platform.
